Reading challenges

January Jam Jar + LateAThon

I read one of my jar picks for this challenge (The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo) and three for the LateAThon (The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo, The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. LeGuin, and A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole).

I read none of my TBR jar picks from last month. I’m also suspending this challenge after just one month because I’m going to spend the next few months focusing on the ARCs I got from ALA. Hopefully I’ll pick it back up after I read those.

Accomplishment: I stuck with my book-buying ban for the whole month, including at ALA. I had a budget for ALA and I stuck to it. It took a lot of planning and willpower and I’m proud of myself.

That was my month! What do you think? Let’s chat in the comments.
