Here are the books that I’m going to prioritize reading in the month of December! And honestly it’s not all of them. I can’t list all of them. There are SO MANY. But here’s a bunch.
If you’d rather watch my TBR, here’s a video of it. 🙂
- The Stars are Legion by Kameron Hurley
- The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. LeGuin
- Not Your Sidekick by C. B. Lee
- Behind the Throne by K. B. Wagers
-
- This is the first book in a series. I’m not sure if this book is queer but I know there are several queer characters later in the series.
- Ascension by Jacqueline Koyanagi
- Barbary Station by R. E. Stearns
- The Star Host by F. T. Lukens
- Love Beyond Body, Space, and Time edited by Hope Nicholson
-
- This is a “a collection of indigenous science fiction and urban fantasy focusing on LGBT and two-spirit characters.” I’m pretty well psyched.
- Ardulum: First Don by J. S. Fields
- The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling
- A Closed and Common Orbit and maybe The Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers
- 27 Hours by Tristina Wright
- The Lights by Carrie Pack
- The Prey of Gods by Nicky Drayden
I’m not sure if all the titles in the video made it to the list. I KNOW all the titles in the list didn’t make it into the video. I forgot to mention Ardulum: The First Don and The Lights, both of which are REALLY HIGH on my priorities list.
Are you participating in the readathon? Do you have any queer sci-fi or spec fic books on your December TBR? Let’s chat in the comments.
